kodiguddu porutu / Egg fry



Ingredients:

Eggs - 3
Onion - 1 big
Green chillies - 2
Vellulli karam / Red chilly powder - 1tsp
Curry powder / turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1tsp

For tempering:

Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Split black gram - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Whole red chilly - 1
Oil - 1tbs 


  • Finely chop onions and green chillies .
  • Heat oil in slillet on medium heat and do the tempering  - when oil is hot , add all the tempering ingredients and let them fry .

  • Once the tempering is done , add the green chillies and fry for few seconds . Now add chopped onions and fry until they soft and transperant .



  • Now crack open  the eggs and add it to fried onions . Mix eggs and onions well and cook it until the eggs are done .

  • Now add garlic chilly powder , curry powder , salt and mix well . let fry for 1 minute and take it off from the heat .


  • Serve kodiguddu porutu with rice or chapathi or puri
